Hi! I'm Rea and I'd like to welcome you to my site. Here you will find my Online Shop, photos of my creations, recipes, video tutorials and more in the near future, as well as my new project, The Care Box (to find out more click the button below).

I will be sharing all kinds of recipes on here - from all-time-classics, to quirky ones, but I want to focus on healthy, natural, less processed recipes drawing from my Food Science background, because you only want the best for your body - it carries you around your whole life, after all..! 

My long term goal and dream is to one day move to a professional kitchen, or even better, to open my own little shop! Scroll down to read how it all started for me.

My top priority with my Online Shop is to spread joy and deliciousness to my customers, with mouthwateringly good homemade cakes and treats, using high quality ingredients, as sustainably as possible.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN...

I hold Mastrers degrees in Chemistry and Food Science, and even though I now work in Technology as a Business Consultant, I've been in a long-term relationship with food. I've been cooking and baking for the last 10 years, and I've loved every little bit of my journey, from building my foundations, to mastering some classics, to experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes. So after sharing some recipes on my Instagram blog, I decided to build a website where it's easier to navigate. 

I fell in love with baking at uni - having a sweet tooth myself, combined with moving to the U.K. for studies, which meant I had to feed myself and I could eat all the treats I want (yes!). I started during my first year and never stopped! I love perfecting my classic 'go to' recipes and trying out new ones. My tastebuds are happy when I'm making traditional bakes like cookies, brownies or cheesecake. My creativity blooms when I make fancy treats and cakes like decorated cupcakes, cakesicles, and geo hearts. And the scientist in me (or whatever is left anyway) is curious to play with sourdough bread hydration ratios and extremely satisfied to get defined layers in puff pastry/croissant dough.

Everyone who's tasted my creations has encouraged me to start a business, but I only decided to take a leap of faith in 2020 during the first national lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, where I found myself at home with more time in my hands. Baking, growing my skillset and developing new products has been so exciting! However, the best part of this adventure has been the joy my boxes bring to all my customers, and my delight when reading their feedback. It's invaluable.
